In Q1 2023, the top five Idle RPG applications in Europe showcased some interesting trends in their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Legend of Slime: Idle RPG War from AppQuantum saw a steady rise in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $189K and peaking at around $277K by the end of February. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 133K and reaching a low of 115K in late February before climbing back to 150K. Meanwhile, weekly active users increased from 333K to 518K over the quarter.

Idle Heroes by DHGAMES experienced notable weekly revenue peaks at $334K and $353K in late December and January, respectively, but faced a dip to $111K by late February. Weekly downloads varied modestly, starting at 20K and ending the quarter at around 20K. Weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 189K to 184K.

Slayer Legend: Idle RPG from GEAR2 showed impressive growth, with weekly revenue increasing from a modest $74 in early January to nearly $37K by mid-March. Weekly downloads saw a significant rise from zero to 38K in the same period. Active users also grew rapidly from 385 to nearly 100K by mid-March.

Dungeon Crusher: Soul Hunters published by Towards Mars Ltd had stable weekly revenue, starting at $32K and peaking at around $35K in January before stabilizing at around $21K by the end of March. Weekly downloads were relatively steady, fluctuating between 12K and 27K. The active user count remained consistent, hovering around 150K to 200K.

Lastly, F Class Adventurer: AFK RPG from EKGAMES had a varied performance. Weekly revenue started at $1.6K and peaked at $13K in early February, ending the quarter at around $6.7K. Downloads peaked early at 52K in mid-January but dropped significantly to below 1K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 64K in late January and declining to about 24K by the end of the quarter.
